Just a quick note to say I am still here and working on the next show!

I have recorded a great little piece of fiction, which will possibly run over the next 2 shows. I am just having trouble concentrating on editing it!
I will also be including the last part of the A. Merritt piece, of course (again more editing).

I will hopefully a have the next show up in a week or 2!

Thanks for your patience!!!

This list has been going around (and growing) so I thought I better add Dial P For Pulp!

=================================================

My list of fantasy and sf book reviewers is woefully out of date. I need your help to fix that. But rather than go through the hassle of having you send me recommendations or sticking them in comments, what you can do is take the following list and stick it on your website, then add yourself to the list, preferably in alphabetical order. That way, I will be able to track it across the web from back links, and can add each new blog to my roll as it comes along. So take this list, add it to your blog, and add a link to your blog on it. If you are already on the list, repost this meme at your blog so others can see it, and find new blogs from the links others put up on their blogs. Everybody wins! Be sure to send the list around to others as well. There is an easy to copy window of all the links and text at the bottom of this post to make it even simpler to do.

I would be ever so grateful if you would help me out.

Due to a software problem show 8 is going to be a bit late.

Basically, I installed Spyware Doctor on both my machines on Friday and it completely screwed up my systems. It seems to have disabled a goodly amount of McAfee and several other parts of my OS.

I have managed to get things back to some kind of normality on my laptop, and the desktop is up and running, but refusing to re-install McAfee. I am going to have to re-install Vista on the desktop over the next few days, and I will probably do the same for my laptop (as it is still a little flakey)!

I may try to get Show 8 out before the laptop rebuild, but it depends on  how well the  machine works over the next day or two.

At the moment I am spending most of my time tracking down all the software I use and making sure I have all of the licenses and driver that I will need.

As for Show 8, I have all the content planned and mostly written, I am just finalising a couple of reviews and then I hope to record/edit it.

I just bought a hardware compressor which (podcasters and audio techs will know) should improve the sound quality a little, and mean I don't have to spend quite so much time editing out the breaths and background noises. So hopefully it will speed up the editing process!

keep listening...

David

Deuce has asked me to correct one of the credits to his Howard Days  photos, the 4th slide features Gary "Black Indy" Cavalier and it should read Bill "Black Indy" Cavalier!

Also Deuce would like to point out that it was actually Chris who took most of the photos!

Finally, Deuce has asked me to let everyone know that Leo Grin, the publisher of The Cimmerian - A Journal dedicated to the Life and works of Robert E. Howard, has recently released the October issue which is a Howard Days celebration issue!
